Katmai's Alagnak River Lodge
Alaska Adventures offers a premier wilderness lodge experience on the Alagnak River. Our modern fishing lodge is located in the heart of Katmai National Park, 40 miles North East of the town of King Salmon. Accommodating 20 guests comfortably, this remote modern marvel offers carpeted panabode cabins for 2-4 guests each. They are ideal for corporate meetings, business entertaining and a highlight of any vacation. Amenities include a main dining room and recreation area that has tv and dvd player, satellite phone, wireless internet and fly-tying area fully stocked, along with modern hot showers, flush toilets and a traditional Alaskan wood-fired sauna.
The lodge sits on 160 acres of land with 3800 feet of private river frontage on the nationally designated wild and scenic Alagnak River. This alows you to experience a true Alaska wilderness fishing lodge without the crowds. Guests will not have to compete for fishing water as there are no other fishing lodges within 34 miles, and no landing access for float planes from competing lodges within 20 miles.
Our 18-21 ft. custom Jet boats give us unlimited access to 3 of the top fly-fishing rivers in Alaska for Trophy Rainbow Trout, Char, and Grayling, along with one of the healthiest runs of all 5 species of Salmon that average over 3 million per year. This is why we don’t offer expensive daily flyouts, because we built our lodge in a prime location in order to offer you the ultimate Alaskan fly-fishing experience.
While the Kenai Peninsula recieves record numbers of visitors every year, our Alagnak River Lodge remains the same- peaceful and untouched. While fisherman combat fish along the banks of the Kenai River, our guests fish in remote and wild rivers. While motorhomes create five mile traffic jams, we take comfort in being more than two hundred miles from the nearest road system. Come stay with us and experience Alaska the way it was supposed to experienced!
